Abril Ndjel arrives at El Molino to present her live debut on Friday, June 26. A proposal that emerges from the intersection of memory, imagination, and a dual cultural heritage connecting Cameroon and the Mediterranean.

Her musical language moves between Mediterranean music and Cameroonian folklore, shaped by melodic and rhythmic structures drawn from R&B and soft electronics. An ongoing exploration that seeks a coexistence between roots and the present.

Her debut EP, La Moreneta, traces an emotional journey that begins with unrequited love and moves toward a form of self-recognition. Four pieces that form an arc: from desire and melancholy to an intimate affirmation that closes the cycle.

The live performance proposes an intimate listening experience. A space where voice, body, and narrative appear as fragments of something lived or imagined. For this presentation at El Molino, she performs with a full band and an expanded live set, where the repertoire coexists with other surprises.
